Europe Meets Myanmar Concert
To mark Europe Day 2019, members of the European Union Youth Orchestra have arrived in Myanmar to perform together with the Orchestra for Myanmar New Children’s Choir and the Strand Singers. This is set to be an unforgettable evening of European classical music and traditional Myanmar and European songs. This is a free-entry event though space will be limited.

Myanmar Film Networking Party

Blues Jam with Misnomers

Htein Lin Solo Exhibition
Renowned artist Htein Lin will have a solo exhibition using a controversial material and invite the viewer to question their own stance on a gender-discriminative custom in Myanmar culture. “Skirting the Issue” is a project he has been working on for one year with the contribution of a number of women living in varied social circumstances with often surprising views. The opening event takes place on Saturday at 5:30 p.m.

Youth Yat Kwat
This is an event to celebrate the youth of Myanmar. Open to all between the ages of 15 and 29, the event is organized by the Goethe-Institut and Myanmar Survey Research. Enjoy music, a graffiti wall, photo exhibition, panel discussion and many interactive stations.

Doggies Day at Yangon Zay
This special edition of Yangon Zay is for the pet dogs, their owners and everyone who loves dogs. The event will feature a doggy fashion show and best-dressed competition for both dog and owner which kicks off at 5 p.m. Prizes will be awarded. Dog owners are requested to keep their dogs on a leash and to pick up after them.

The Smell of Spring
