Exclusive footage shows the Kachin Independence Army (KIA) using a suicide drone to take down a junta Mi-17 helicopter over Kachin State’s Bhamo on Tuesday.
The video clearly shows the drone striking the rotor mid-flight, contradicting regime claims that the chopper crashed due to “mechanical failure.” A military analyst says this is only the second time an FPV drone has successfully downed an aircraft.
